Pull Ourselves Together

Hello All,

During this week we have gone to a store called 'Michaels Craft Store' where we found materials essential to our project. This includes t-shirt material, acrylic paints, and paint brushes that we will use in creating the articles of clothing that will go onto our store website to sell.

Currently we are working on finalizing the designs that will be going onto the clothing, those designs are what will help set our merchandise apart from other company’s.

These designs will be used along with bleach, creating a bleach tye-dye sort of effect, once again setting our product  apart from other generic clothing stores and this will help create affordable but good quality bleach shirts. Likewise, we will be using the paint to paint the letters and numbers of a Bible verse onto the sleeve to create a personal connection to Christ for the person wearing it, but at the same time ones without Bible verse on the sleeves will be offered on our online store for those not of the Christian faith or those not wanting to wear a bible verse on their sleeve.

Ready, Set, Stitch!

Hello All,

The goals of this project are for us to be able to make clothes well and fill the need left by natural disasters. There are many natural disasters that leave many clothless and bereft of most of their possessions. The need will be filled by our organization which will partner with Hands On Nashville and Red Cross to distribute the clothes made and donated. There will be systematic way for the donating of clothes, the includes Alyssa and I having an online store, on the store when you buy a piece of clothing we will donate one to a charity.

We will measure our progress through month check-ins with our mentor and referencing to our original goals. Another way we will monitor our progress is by posting pictures of our products as we make them and post any pictures of new designs that may be coming soon.
