Hello All,
During this week of the Vitam Dare project we have been working on rewriting and revising our Genius Hour proposal. We originally presented our project in a group setting through a slide show presentation and speaking. Before this, however, we turned-in a project proposal to our teach, who then approved our project; which includes making clothes, selling them and then match that sale by giving clothes to those who are in need of them, specifically locally, in Nashville. From that point on we looked for a mentor to connect with and learn from for the donation. After a few failed attempts and emails exchanged with a few different people, we finally found our mentor in the form of Julia Abbot. She works at the nonprofit organization Hands on Nashville. Therefore, we will be teaming up with this company, when we have a box of clothes to donate we will take a tour of their downtown office and donate the clothes.
